About Me
I'm a native Pennsylvanian having grown up in Chester County outside of Philadelphia. After getting a BA in Communications and Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, I moved to Los Angeles to study film at UCLA.
Before focusing on fiction, I was an award-winning writer, editor, and producer in motion picture advertising. I have also written for film and television. My first novels, Z vs V: Among the Living – Books 1 and 2, have recently been published by Raven Tale Publishing. My short fiction has appeared in Best Indie Speculative Fiction: Volume IV, Bards & Sages Quarterly, Möbius Blvd., and on RipplesInSpace.com and Teleportmagazine.com.
On a Sierra Club hike, I met my wonderful wife. We've been together ever since. We have two incredible grown daughters. Our first grandchild is on the way.
When I'm not writing, I work part time at a non-profit that provides services to the unhoused. I'm active in a community organizing group, and I try to run one marathon a year. (I'm up to 43.) I like to cook to the point that I built my own sous vide heater/circulator before they were generally available.
